J.A.B. Short Limited is a family owned and run company which has been building quality homes from traditional materials for almost 100 years.

Based in Chesterfield in Derbyshire, the company concentrates on providing homes within South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Each site is specifically designed by commissioned architects so that each development enjoys its own distinctive character.

In addition to building homes, the company also has a general contracting division and a commercial development and investment division.

Our company is always looking to acquire suitable sites, upon which to build. We would be pleased to come and talk to you, should you have any potential building land. Whether it be a possible plot at the bottom of your garden or a 50 acre field, we would like to come and meet you.
